One of the ways satan wants to hurt God and us is to steal our joy any way he can.
I’ve discovered one of those ways, at least for me, is to remind me just how unworthy I am of God’s love and salvation. I am only a human with an imperfect physical body that is rotting away daily.
So, we need to decide to fight this with all we have and more importantly, all God has.
Psalm 9:1-2: I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.
Throughout the day choose to remember God’s wonderful deeds of salvation. Be glad and rejoice in Him and what He has done for us.
I am not and never will be worthy. I’ll never, ever be good enough. I don’t need to be reminded of this by satan or anyone because I full well know it.
But praise be to God who sees me as worthy and good enough because of His Son who died for me!
