To me there’s not much better than clean, cool, and comfortable sheets to slip into at night. I love having a cold room and then snuggling into blankets to sleep.
When I was a young girl, I can remember getting a blanket and climbing on the back of our couch to take a nap. We didn’t have central heat and air. We had a window air conditioner. I would lay right under that window and listen to the roar of the machine as it cooled our house.
It was a comfort to me. I guess back then it was what we call today white noise. People pay good money for white noise machines these days.
