Growing up as kids, any time we got hurt, we would run to our moms or dads because we knew they’d offer the comfort and help we needed. We also knew they would hold on to us.
Now as adults when I have issues, I want to talk to with others, and rightly so. But so often those others try to tell Me what we need to do. They try to give me a solution.
I dare say most of the time I don’t need advice… just need someone to hold on to me.
There are times when no one is around or wants to hold on to me especially when I am not the person I should be.
But…God will always hold on to me unconditionally.
That is why I like the song Hold on to me! by Lauren Daigle. Listen to the words.
No one can hold on to me like my Father!
