Do you like to be alone? Sometimes I do.
Have you ever felt lonely? Probably we all have. We can feel lonely in a crowd of people.
In our Sunday Bible class we studied the book of Mark. Our teacher pointed out how alone Jesus was after His arrest. He was treated horribly. Beaten. Thorns on His head. Spit upon. Crucified.
And He was alone!
All His disciples ran away. Those of His family that stayed, couldn’t help Him.
He was alone in a crowd of people!
And even God turned away as Jesus hung on that cross……….covered with my sins and yours. Alone!
